Central Library
The university consistently strives to strengthen the Central Library and Departmental Libraries in terms of state-of-the-art reading material including text books, manuscripts, reference literature and, research journals and magazines, particularly related to the various doctoral, post graduate and under graduate programs offered on the Campus, as well as, in affiliated colleges. With the help of the Leased Line (2 MBPS band width) exclusively installed for the Central Library, the readers have now effective access to over 4000 e - Journals under UGC Infonet E Consortia Project. Automation of the library is among the immediate priorities of the University. Efforts are also afoot to set-up an elite reference section on various eminent Indian schools of thoughts, viz., Budhism, Gandian, Aurobindo, Ambedkar and Nehru, for which the UGC has also extended grants-in-aid. Due attention is also paid to enrich the libraries of various academic institutes and Departments of the Campus.
